Wilkinson Brick Making Machines – Fabricated for Africa by Africa, since 1980.<\/p>\n
42 Years of supplying Africa with brick machines, withstanding the test of time – this was not the vision of founding
member J.J Wilkinson after fabricating the first Wilkinson Brick Machine in 1980. A shortage of bricks for building
projects brought to life this innovative design that not only solved the short term brick shortage but laid the
foundation for something much bigger.<\/p>\n
Once the market realised the quality, durability and business opportunities the Wilkinson brick machines offered,
Joe Wilkinson and his sons, Joe Wilkinson (jnr), and Turner Wilkinson, were supplying machines off a constant
waiting list throughout the 1990’s fabricating between 50 to 60 manual brick making machines per month.<\/p>\n
The new millennium however tested the growing company. The passing of both Joe and Turner Wilkinson, together
with the global recession of 2009 left Joe Wilkinson (jnr) with one enormous task to keep doors open. The market
was demanding change and change he did – evolving the machines from manual to electrical, by introducing
220V\/280V vibrators to all models, reducing brick manufacturing labour and increasing brick quality.<\/p>\n
F urther additions to the Wilkinson Brick Machines product line included; hydraulic static machines, diesel\/petrol vibrating
brick machines and diesel\/petrol pan mixers. These products have widened the new business opportunity of
Wilkinson Brick Making Machine clients covering small, medium and large scale brick manufacturing requirements.
41 Years of loyalty, honesty and hard work, has shaped Wilkinson Brick Machines to be one of South Africa’s oldest
and best known Brick Making Machines. It’s time now to introduce Wilkinson Brick Machines to the wider African
